 S.T.A.R Puppy

AKC S.TA.R. Puppy - this is for puppies 12 weeks to 8 months.

( when a puppy is starting at 12 weeks they will repeat the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy twice. The

instructor will move a puppy up if they feel it’s right )

1.walking on a leash & answering any leash questions

2.sit / down

3.sit/stay & down/stay up to 30 seconds with distraction

( the time can go up from 30 seconds depending on the ability of the puppies in that particular

six session )

4.touch with their nose, live skills they will use for the future & more.

5. Instructor will go over how important it is to crate a puppy, any potty training issues along

with Biting questions & more .

Puppy Foundations

This is for puppies that are 9 months & up with no previous training.

1.​ Walking on a leash & answering any leash questions.

2. Sit / down

3.sit/stay & down/stay up to 60 seconds with distraction( the time can go up from 60 seconds depending on the ability of the puppies in that particular six session )

4.touch with their nose, live skills they will use for the future & more.

5. Instructor will go over how important it is to crate a puppy, any Biting questions & more .

8. Manners when out in public.

9. Preparing for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Test & or The AKC CGC Test.

Basic Obedience

This class level is for dog’s 1 ½ years old & older with no training experience.

Beginner Obedience

This class level is for dog’s that are sitting with out getting up & owners

can drop the leash and start to walk away, has no problems walking on a leash.

They can sit and stay when walking away for a recall and much more. 

Intermediate Obedience

Dog that are working on & off leash, walking away from the dog and

much more.

 Novice competition 

Preparing for the AKC Show Ring.
